I got together with my friend Kyle Appleton to restructure some of my old songs and tell a story about love, loss, and survival. I did the singing and a little guitar playing and he did pretty much everything else.

Some friends joined us along the way including Polly on Pollen (Karen Ferryman, Dance on Broken Legs, PTSD), Krystelle Lorraine (Invocation), and even my own daughter Indie Margeaux (Lilith). Together we built up this darkly spiritual sound to tell the autobiographical tale of the American opioid epidemic and its effects on us all.

I have both sang and spit for a long while now but very rarely have I embraced my naturally deep voice. In doing so here I think you are able to catch a glimpse into the boundless reality of grief.

There a reverberating and cavernous and sacred sound to the songs and all the credit for that goes to Kyle Appleton who truly understood what the song was trying to say and was able to lift it up to embrace it's potential.

These songs are neither the beginning nor the end, just another spin round the LOOP.
